淺觀學院外的創意寫作課程
學院內開設創意寫作課成為潮流，是晚近之事。在學院以外的創意寫作課，在六十年代戴天等開設的詩作坊以來，一直存在，但選擇變多，也是近年的事。其中文藝團體如香港文學生活館、水煮魚文化製作、聲韻詩歌生活節等，均發揮了一定的角色。本文期以面向公眾、收費的創意寫作課為觀察對象，包括「自拍寫作班」、文學季系列寫作班等，以課程之實例出發，從設題、內容的變化，觀察巿場的限制與可能，並為學院提供能動的參考。
Preliminary Thoughts on Creative Writing Courses beyond the Academy
While it has become trendy lately for local universities to offer creative writing courses, such practices already began in Hong Kong since the 1960s with Dai Tian’s “Poetry Workshop.” Only in recent years have more options been provided by several literary organizations, such as the House of Hong Kong Literature, Spicy Fish Cultural Production Ltd., and the Poetry Festival of Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine. This presentation focuses on the changing syllabi of fee-based and open-to-all creative writing courses by looking at the examples of the “Selfie Writing Class” and various writing courses at the Literature Festival organized by the House of Hong Kong Literature in order to examine the limits and possibilities the market can offer.
