From Creative Writing to Creative Literacy

 

This talk introduces the pedagogical framework of teaching creative writing in English as a foreign language at Sun Yat-sen University. It uses the summary lecture within the framework to show how writing techniques are taught through students’ work. It stresses some of the issues and features that are important for writing in a foreign language. It also illustrates how creative literacy is encouraged and built around the creative writing course.
